3 DAYS JINJA

Jinja City is known as the adventure capital of East Africa and is famously home to the Source of the Nile River. Located in eastern Uganda on the shores of Lake Victoria, Jinja offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, rich history, and exciting adventure activities. The city is surrounded by lush greenery, the mighty Nile, and vibrant local communities, making it a popular destination for relaxation adventure. 

Day one: Travelling to Jinja and source of the Nile. After breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide and begin the journey to Jinja via the Kampala Industrial Area, Mukono, Lugazi, and Mabira Forest. The drive takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on traffic along the Jinja Highway, which is often busy as it serves as the main route for Uganda’s imports and exports.Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of sugarcane plantations, roadside markets, and the dense Mabira Forest. Upon arrival in Jinja, we proceed to your selected hotel for lunch. After lunch, we drive to the Source of the Nile, where you will see where the world’s longest river begins and enjoy beautiful views of the Nile, Lake Victoria, and a stunning sunset. Thereafter, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day two: rafting 

After breakfast, we drive to the rafting offices for a safety briefing before proceeding to the rafting starting point. White water rafting on the Nile is an exciting adventure that takes about 6–8 hours, depending on your fitness level and preferred pace.After completing the activity, you will have lunch before driving back to the hotel for relaxation. Spend the evening at leisure, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day three: driving back to kampala or airport 

After breakfast, enjoy a short Jinja city tour as we begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport. The tour offers scenic views of the Nile, local markets, and historical landmarks before continuing to your final destination.
