8 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA & WILDLIFE SAFARI

Day 1: Kampala - Mubende - Kibale Forest 

You will be picked up by our company driver who will drive you to Kibale forest national park through Mubende town with lots of scenic views and a stopover in Fort portal for lunch. Continue to the park for an evening visit to the crater lakes region and afterwards, enjoy cultural performances from the local people. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp. 

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking / Bird watching 

Wake up for a heavy breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee trekking. This will be followed by searching for these great apes which will also enable you to view other primates like the colobus monkeys, Mangabeys, baboons, Bush babies and many more as your guide provides more information about them. After lunch, you will have a nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a number of birds and unique flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp 

Day 3: Kibale Forest - Queen Elizabeth Park (Launch cruise) 

After your breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park with a wide game viewing route for 2- 3 hours like elephants, buffaloes, leopard, hyena, and leopard. Reach early enough for lunch and then go for a breathtaking launch drive along Kazinga channel offering a variety of Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and water birds at a close range. . Dinner and overnight EnshamaSafari Lodge. 

Day 4: Game drives / forest walk 

Early in the morning after a heavy breakfast, you will enjoy a morning game drive so as to catch upwith the early risers as they come out from their hide outs like the lion, buffaloes, warthogs and many more. Retire for lunch and then head for a boat cruise on kazinga channel that rewards sightings crocodiles, elephants, hippos and several bird species. Dinner and overnight at Enshama Safari Lodge. 

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth - Ishasha sector - Bwindi Forest 

After a heavy breakfast, you will embark on a quick journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a stopover at Ishasha for the famous tree climbing lions; however you may also get to see other animals you might have missed in the previous game drives. Then continue with scenic drive through Kabale town, arriving late evening to the park for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Lake Mutanda Lodge . 

Day 6: Gorillas in the mist 

Wake up for early morning breakfast and afterwards depart to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing by the park ranger guides before starting the Gorilla trek in the steep densely forested and beautiful landscape of Bwindi Impenetrable forest. This great activity will take you about 3-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle and a certificate waits for a successful tracker. . Dinner and overnight at Lake Mutanda Lodge. 

Day 7: Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with a wide game view en route for a number of activities which include, boat trip to different beautiful islands found on lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight inKeije Safari Lodge. 

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi - Drive back to Kampala 

You will have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala. Enjoy royal drum makers, lunchenroute and a stopover at the equator for photography. Arrive Kampala early evening for a transfer to Entebbe for your flight back home
